FOR HIRE: Green Park Station Market Square

The Market Square is our main events space, it is located in the centre of the site and is protected from the elements by the station’s cast iron and glazed roof.  There are one or two isolated spots where a small amount of rain may enter.  The station is open at both ends.

The Square consists of a wooden floor approximately 21 meters by 15 meters. Please note the floor is fitted with anti-skateboarding strips that are a permanent fixture which cannot be removed, but could be covered with a suitable temporary floor (sourced by you) if required for your event. 

Along the North and South edge of the square are a total of twelve 2-gang 13 amp electrical sockets concealed below lift up floor sections, an additional 2-gang 13 amp socket box is located beneath a hatch in the centre of the square.

Due to the regular Farmers Market, the Square is not available to hire on a Saturday before 3.00 pm. The Market Square is currently not available on Sundays.

The main entrance to Green Park Station from Green Park road is via the foyer which is approximately 9.5 meters by 7.5 meters square. This area receives heavy footfall so it is important that fire exit routes are kept clear at all times. To aid this a black path has been marked out on the floor – this path must always be kept clear. The foyer also contains the entrance to the Bath Function Rooms (managed by the Green Park Brasserie), the building fire alarm panel and the tenant’s post boxes – these must also be kept clear.  There are four 2-gang Electrak double shuttered safety sockets in the foyer that can only be used with Electrak key plugs.
